5 CEd faculty, students present papers

Five faculty members and seven students of the College of Education presented their research papers during the Research Congress held in a parallel session at the CEd Multi-purpose Hall and Room 304 a&b of the college last December 1.

The research papers were teaching Performance of General Education, Professional Education and Specialization Courses of College of Education, CLSU presented by Mr. Verjun J. Dilla;  Product Outcome Evaluation of the Teacher Education Curriculum-CLSU by Mr. Vincent R. Feliciano.  Work Motivation, Job Satisfaction and Work Needs and Problems of Faculty: Basis for Proposed Faculty Development Program for State Universities in Region 3 by Dr. Jennifer Velasquez.Affective Filters and Selected Variables in Second Language Acquisition as Indicators of Language Proficiency among Senior High School Students presented by Mr. Joel Torres. Multiple Goals and Filipino Students’ Intrinsic Motivation, Study Strategies, Achievement Emotions and Academic Achievement by Dr. Elmer dela Rosa.

Student presenters were Reymond M. Lequeran (The Intrinsic Motivation in English, Math and Science of Male and Female High School Students in Public and Private Schools), Dana Rachelle B. Perez (Test Anxiety of College Students on their Major and Minor Subjects), Mary Roselyn Gallarde(Math Anxiety of High School and College Students in Public and Private Schools), Leonora Abrajano (the Learning Style of Intermediate Pupils and Their Effect in academic performance), Gracyl Joyce Guerrero (Common Family Problems of Elementary Pupils ans their Effect to Academic Performance), Julius Grospe (Extent Effects of Giving Assignments in Math 100), Reina Ester Panalangin (How ready are the students in Fundamental of Mathematics (Math 102)in taking Higher Mathematics), and Alba Jane Wendam(Coping Mechanism of Teachers regarding Common Problems in Learning HEKASI).

The Research Congress is conducted every semester for the students of the college enrolled in Educ 145,Introduction to Educational Research.
