CED trains grade 9 teachers

The College of Education hosted the mass training of grade 9 teachers on May 17 to 21, 2014.

394 Filipino and Araling Panlipunan (Social Studies) teachers from the divisions of Nueva Ecija, Cabanatuan, Gapan, Muñoz and San Jose attended the training.

The Filipino trainers were Mr. Alexander F. Angeles, Education Program Supervisor-Filipino; Mr. Reynaldo S. Reyes, Education Program Supervisor-Filipino; Mr. Romeo P. Lorido, Master Teacher I; and, Mr. Michael C. Delos Santos, Instructor III, CLSU Science High School.

Dr. Eva Fe F. Taclibon, Education Program Supervisor-Araling Panlipunan; Dr. Wilfredo R. Sison, Education Program Supervisor-Araling Panlipunan; Mr. Ronald G. Morla, Education Program Supervisor-Araling Panlipunan; Ms. Cristina S. Parungao, Secondary School Principal II; and Asst. Prof. Cleotilde M. Villanueva, CLSU College of Education were the Social Studies trainers.

This is the 3rd year that CLSU collaborated with the Department of Education and the Teacher Education Council to train teachers in the implementation of the K to 12 enhanced basic education curriculum.

The Educator staffers bagged the overall championship in the 2014 InkREADYbles, a journalism seminar-workshop co-sponsored by the University Supreme Student Council (USSC) and The CLSU Collegian on June 14-15, 2014 at the RET Amphitheater.
