MSBioEd to undergo AACCUP Level II Accreditation

College of Education will subject its Master of Science in Biology Education for Level II Accreditation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Oct. 9-13.

The program will be evaluated based on the following quality education standards set by AACCUP: Area I (Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives); Area II (Faculty); Area III (Curriculum and Instruction); Area IV (Support to Students); Area V (Research); Area VI (Extension and Community Involvement); Area VII (Library); Area VIII (Physical Plant and Facilities); Area IX (Laboratories); and Area X (Administration).

AACCUP was organized in 1987 and was officially registered under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 1989. The organization primarily aims to evaluate and accredit the curricular programs in the Philippines especially the programs under the state colleges and universities.
