CEd faculty attend, present papers in SUCTEA’s International

Six faculty staff of the College of Education attended the International Research Conference, Training and Consultative Workshop of the State Universities and Colleges Teacher Educators Association, Inc. (SUCTEA) at the University of Mindanao (Matina Campus), Davao City held last September 22-24.

The event was themed “Towards Sustainable, Culturally- Relevant and responsive Pre-Service Teacher Education.”

Dr. Elmer D. Dela Rosa, Dr. Rhodora I. Dela Rosa, Prof. Catalina Cadiz, Ms. Lalaine F. Manuel, Dr. Michael Mabalay, and Ms. Ferlyn Reyes presented their respective research paper in the said conference.

Dr. Leila Collantes, chairman of the Secondary Education Department, Prof. Vilma Salas, chairman of the Elementary Education Department, and Ms. Hiyasmin Malicdem, college secretary also attended the event.

The presentors were chosen based on the research studies that they submitted in the SUCTEA board members.

The conference also tackle the DepEd Senior High Program and the new teacher curricula.

A collective effort from the College of Education, University Science High School and Agricultural Science and Technology School assembled a magical run for the Unit I Golden Fighting Lynx, dominating all other units to take home the Grand Slam feat.
