MSGC grad lands 5th place in Guidance Counselor Board Exam
First takers garner 100% passing rate

Marvin N. Tolentino, a graduate of Master of Science in Guidance and Counselling from CLSU, landed 5th place with a rating of 88.20 percent in the 2018 Guidance Counselor Licensure Examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and Professional Regulatory Board of Guidance Counseling last August 29-30.

CLSU takers for the said exam garnered 80 percent overall passing rate. First-time takers on the other hand garnered 100% passing rate. National passing rate was 74.86 percent.

The examination was administered last August 29-30 on cities of Manila, Cagayan De Oro, and Cebu. Results were released two working days after the administration of the exam, September 3.

"Masaya at nakakaproud dahil napakita nila na natuto sila sa mga discussions lalo na at may naka-top pa. Inspiration ito sa mga faculty para lalong pag-igihan ang patuturo para maka-produce pa ng topnotchers in the future." said by Dr. Hiyasmin M. Delos Santos, CEd guidance counselor and one of the MSGS faculty members.
