The College of Education (CEd), headed by its Dean, Dr. Regidor G. Gaboy, underwent the first ever online accreditation on December 14-16, 2020.
The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. assesses curricular programs in the Philippines, particularly for state universities and colleges.
The Bachelor of Elementary Education and the Bachelor of Secondary Education programs underwent the Level IV Phase 2 evaluation, which is the highest attainment in the AACCUP quality assurance system. Results have not been released yet.
Since this is the first time that the accreditation was undertaken online, technical problems occurred. However, the University did its best to overcome the challenges.
The other CLSU degree programs that were also evaluated were Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA), Bachelor of Science in Biology (BSBio), and Bachelor of Science in Food Technology (BS Food Tech).
